3:41 pm in Miami by Michiko Lunsford

Here is the story from last week’s bulletin…
Life in Miami is often glamorized, thanks to television. Life at street-level can be hard and dangerous. Danny Egipciaco is a man on a mission and God is using him to impact people in the city of Miami for His Glory through church planting. Here is a story from Danny:
Primo was lost in the city of Miami with his marriage holding on by a thread. One day, Primo entered the church I had started … I began to share the Gospel with him. His story reflects the reality of the struggles of Miami. He had illegal documents. He had a rap sheet longer than you can imagine. He had a child. When I met Primo he was broken. He had just been released from prison and was frustrated because his life was a mess. He finally gave his life to Jesus. On several occasions, Primo struggled and returned to the life of drug dealing where he knew how to make money, and provide for his family…that’s all he knew. This young man had been shot several times as a teenager and survived.
God stepped in and changed Primo’s life! Today, he is well on his way to receive citizenship, and his marriage is strong, and is a manager at a construction company. He is providing for his family and God is blessing him in more ways than one. Primo, demonstrates to us the power of the Gospel, as well as the brokenness of the people in South Florida. It has been a long process of discipleship and supporting him and his family through the emotional ups and downs…but worth it! God has done a great work in his life.
Join me in praying for Primo and many others like him. Pray for Danny and ask that God will give him favor and open doors as he works to see churches planted in the city of Miami.

Here’s the story from last Sunday’s bulletin. Be encouraged as you read this story from Jason Byers, church planter & pastor at Celebration! Church (C!C) in Ottawa, Canada:
Robin was a fairly typical Canadian university student when he came to check out C!C. One thing made him unique – he had received Jesus as Savior in high school, putting him in a “faith minority” in university. However, Robin’s life was characterized by sin and immaturity much like the people around him.
At C!C, Robin began to learn more about Jesus and the plans that Christ had for his life. He joined a campus small-group, then a discipleship group with Jason. Over the next couple years, Robin saw victories in his life over sin, in sharing his faith with friends, in serving as a small-group leader and more.
Robin began to look for a serious dating relationship, but he wanted to say, with confidence, before entering into such a relationship, that his identity and hope were found in Christ alone. This past year, Jason had the privilege of marring Robin to his lovely wife Caitlin. Together they are a vital part of C!C and are eager to see how God will use their marriage to grow the Kingdom. Robin and Caitlin are one of thirteen couples that have been through premarital counseling.
Pray for Jason & Carrie Byers, Robin & Caitlin and the others touched by the ministry of C!C.

Here is the story from last Sunday’s bulletin:
God is doing amazing things in people’s lives in our Frontier Awaits focus areas. Check out this story from Cavin Cawthon, Eagle’s Landing partner and International Mission Board missionary in Panama City, Panama.

As a student at a Catholic seminary in Panama City, Panama, a man named David was preparing to enter the priesthood. As he studied the Bible, he came to see challenges with the things he was being taught regarding the church. The Holy Spirit began to show him the truth and this led him to leave the seminary and the Catholic church.
After David left seminary, God gave him a Christian friend who shared with him the truth of the Gospel. This friend led David to true faith in Christ! He began to grow in his faith, to the point where he sensed God was leading him to plant churches!
David was trained at the Church Planting Institute of Panama (Cavin’s church planting ministry). In fact, he now helps train church planters himself through the Institute!
David has started three groups or cells reaching people from different backgrounds. Soon, he will begin to bring these groups together for a monthly Celebration Service. David’s goal is to have a cell group in every neighborhood in Panama City!
Pray for David as he engages the communities of Panama City, Panama with the Gospel.
